About the Project

The PCR Store invites you to their pop-up installation at Jordan Faye Contemporary. Bring in your favorite vinyl album, and we'll play it in the store for all to hear, and add a picture of it to our Archive of Beloved Music. Works by artists from across the country exploring the visual qualities of twelve-inch records will be on view.

baltimore Kissa society at Jordan FAye Contemporary

Based on the Japanese kissa—a small establishment with a coffee shop atmosphere, tasty beer, and plenty of jazz records for perusal—the Baltimore Kissa Society hosts events where audiences can listen to vinyl recordings of jazz music with other like-minded audiophiles. This event will feature music from jazz saxophonists Hank Mobley and Vi Redd.

Sunday May 15  |  6 - 8pm [east gallery]
